Series 81 Christian Guide to Overview of the Bible

It is very important for us to take a look at how God created the Bible and to get grounded in the facts that the Bible is infallible, inerrantly inspired Word of God. This study will be an exegesis of Scripture with many Scriptural references, to ground you in the importance and infallibility of God’s word.

For the student just beginning Bible study, there are six main areas of study that need to be considered:

Recognizing God's Institutions

The Bible is made up of 66 different books that were written over 1,600 years (from approximately 1500 B.C. to A.D. 100) by more than 40 kings, prophets, leaders, and followers of Jesus. To get that many people, from varied walks of life, from farmers to Doctors and Kings, over that length of time, is a mathematical impossibility to ever exist.
