Reproach is a warfare tactic that an enemy will use against people. You can be both a victim of reproach and guilty of administering reproach. Reproach is not a commonly used term today, yet the Bible has much to say about it. It’s important for deliverance workers to know how to pray and fight against the spirit of reproach, especially if one is in leadership or the public eye. The devil will attempt to use reproach as a weapon against you in an attempt to get you to quit.

Some similar words to reproach are; contempt, disgrace, shame, scorn, ridicule, dishonoring, insulting, humiliated.

Reproach is considered a double edge sword and we will look at five different applications.
