Series 04 Soaring As Eagles

Throughout Scripture we see God using the things of nature to reveal himself, or to reveal some divine truth concerning the principals that govern man, or the universe.

God has made his handy work more than a creation, he has also made it an object lesson, often a projection of himself. The Psalmist wrote- Consider the Ant. Jesus Said consider the Lilies- Consider the Sparrow. John The Baptist said Behold The Lamb

Only a few animals are likened unto Christians. The Eagle, Lion, Sheep

The Eagle is used as a simile: a figure of speech involving the comparison of one thing with another thing of a different kind. A simile connects 2 unlike things by drawing like comparisons. The Eagle is an example to us. Bible Doesn’t tell us to be like crows, turkeys, chickens, or parrots, we are to be like Eagles: So we ought to find out what eagles are like.
