Series 79 Redeeming Manhood - Mens Workshop

This is a series of 12 messages given at a WCCD Mens workshop.

Masculinity is bestowed, authentic manhood seeks you out— from the father, it is not seized, fabricated, or sought for—

Our culture / church has corrupted the image of man by the model of the seeker, a dissatisfied lone wolf, cowboy, space jockey, truck driving, motorcycle rider, etc, and it creates an outer directed man, one that the world easily manipulates— tricked with their image of what it means to be manly.

The father is supposed to call out, call and initiate masculinity to his sons. Most boys rarely get this, and spend the rest of their lives wondering if they have what it takes.

"Am I a man, or will I fail? How do other men see me?" And they incorrectly seek to have women confirm that they're manly.

If a father doesn’t call out the sons— then the mother raises them— they’ll spend rest of their life looking out for women to confirm that they are a man

It can’t be done without a relationship with God the Father. God the Father wants to bring his sons into the courage and strengths of manhood. And If men won’t answer the call— He will destroy their hiding place
